Laws of Shabbos #69

Assembling small utensils are treated more leniently when it comes to the laws of building on Shabbos. The two areas where these leniencies apply are:
- Items which are meant to be assembled and disassembled. For example, the top of a salt shaker may be unscrewed and put back on again.
- Items which are always loose-fitting. The For example, a drawer that comes out completely from a large breakfront cannot be returned. A drawer that comes out of a nightstand may be returned.
